Every few weeks we fire out a couple of tunes to add to your Irish road trip playlist to keep your ears happy as you travel!

Over the last few weeks, we’ve brought you songs to cruise to from the likes of Snow Patrol, Kygo and Walking on Cars.

This week, we’re tipping back over 20 years to 1994 to a song that was written in the wake of the IRA bombings in Warrington, Cheshire in 1993.

Zombie is a powerful rock/pop-punk track by The Cranberries that you physically can’t help but bop your head along to.

Zombie achieved global success, hitting the top spot in the charts in Australia, Belgium, Denmark, and Germany and claiming the title of  “Best Song” award at the 1995 MTV Europe Music Awards.
