If you’re waking up in Dublin this morning and have yet to look at the window, then you’re in for a surprise.

The #BeastFromTheEast has hit the capital with an almighty clatter, with between 5 and 10cm of snow falling, according to Met Eireann who’ve also issued a status red weather warning.

 If you can avoid leaving the house, do!
