A couple of months back I published a do-it-in-a-day Dublin to Cuilcagh road trip guide.

I had done the drive a couple of days previous (and loved it) and, after sharing in on Instagram, had 20 or 30 people getting in touch and asking for the route.

Since then, I’ve been tempted to make the journey back up to Fermanagh to give Cuilcagh’s stairway to Heaven another crack.

But… I just haven’t had the chance.

Then Stephen got in touch with some photos from last weekend, with the mountain COVERED in snow, and I’ve been itching to leg it out of work and head up north ever since!

The place looks like something plucked straight from a postcard.

There’s an awful lot to be said for a decent pair of hiking boots…

And that's a wrap!
Have you climbed Cuilcagh? if you’re debating it, you need to give it a crack. It’s a handy climb and the view from the top will knock you sideways!
